Terms of Use
1. General conditions of use
1.1 The Nortrip Digital Guide
The Nortrip Digital Guide is a digital service that provides a list of hosts that allow free RV parking for up to 24 hours to RV owners with a valid Nortrip membership.
1.2 Disclaimer
The Nortrip Guide makes it easy for motorhome tourists to get in touch with hosts who offer free motorhome parking to Nortrip members. There is no guarantee from Nortrip AS 'side for the host experiences. The hosts are themselves responsible for receiving motorhome tourists. As a Nortrip member, you are responsible for your own actions, and you must consider for yourself whether the host you want to visit suits your wishes and needs. Under no circumstances can Nortrip AS be held liable for any damage that may occur to the host, guest's person, assets and properties. Such damages are a matter for the hosts and guests and are resolved through the insurance of the hosts and guests.1.3 Deleting a Nortrip Member
Nortrip AS reserves the right to exclude a Nortrip member from the digital Nortrip guide if there is any reasonable doubt that the person intentionally causes damage to a host or other Nortrip members' person, property or assets. Under such circumstances, no compensation will be given to the person in question.
2. Terms of purchase
2.1 No right of withdrawal
Please note that our Nortrip digital guide is considered digital content not provided on a physical medium . According to the Right of Withdrawal Act §22, letter n , you as a consumer thus have not entitled to exercise the right of withdrawal to cancel the purchase of the digital Nortrip guide.
If the digital Nortrip guide was purchased as part of a package with the physical Nortrip guide (valid from the 2022 season), the cancellation period is 14 days from the day you receive the Nortrip guide in physical possession.
The Right of Withdrawal Act does not apply to companies.
2.2 Complaints
If there is a defect in the item, the buyer must, within a reasonable time after it was discovered or should have been discovered, notify Nortrip AS that he or she will invoke the defect. The buyer has always complained in time if it happens within 2 months from the defect was discovered or should have been discovered.
If the item has a defect and this is not due to the buyer or circumstances on the buyer's side, the buyer may, in accordance with the rules in the Consumer Purchase Act, Chapter 6, withhold the purchase price, choose between correction and re-delivery, demand price reduction, demand the agreement terminated and / or demand compensation from Nortrip AS.
Complaints to Nortrip AS should be made in writing and preferably via e-mail to post@nortrip.no .
For companies and other businesses, general provisions on purchases, regulated by the Purchase Act, apply.
2.2.1 Correction or Replacement
The buyer can choose between claiming the defect or correcting the delivery of similar items. Nortrip AS may nevertheless oppose the buyer's claim if the implementation of the claim is impossible or causes Nortrip AS unreasonable costs. Correction or re-delivery must be made within a reasonable time. Nortrip AS is in principle not entitled to make more than two remedial attempts for the same defect.
2.2.2 Price Discounts
The buyer can demand a suitable price reduction if the item is not corrected or returned. This means that the ratio between reduced and agreed price corresponds to the ratio between the value of the item in defective and contractual condition. If there are special reasons for it, the price reduction can instead be set equal to the significance of the defect for the buyer.
2.2.3 Lifting
If the item has not been repaired or returned, the buyer can also cancel the purchase when the defect is not insignificant.
2.3 Conflicts
Complaints should be addressed to Nortrip AS within a reasonable time, preferably by e-mail to post@nortrip.no . The parties shall endeavor to resolve any disputes amicably. If this does not succeed, the buyer can contact the Consumer Council for mediation. The Consumer Council is available on telephone 23 40 05 00 or www.forbrukerradet.no .
If this does not succeed, the disputes must be resolved in Norwegian courts, where Agder District Court is the proper venue.
